We Offer Comprehensive Scanning Services

Multi-Position/Upright MRI

The Upright MRI is unlike any other scanner because it can scan patients in ANY POSITION. Other MRI scanners can only scan patients lying down. The Upright MRI can scan patients lying down too, but if the patient has, say, low back pain only when they are sitting or standing, does it make sense to scan them lying down? Only the Upright MRI can scan patients in their positions of symptoms, whatever they may be, including WEIGHT-BEARING positions, such as sitting, standing and bending. This unique ability has enabled the Upright MRI to provide more accurate diagnoses by detecting many problems that were underestimated or completely missed by other kinds of MRI’s.

Maximum Care, Minimum Radiation

Advances in modern medical imaging technology have made it possible to produce highly accurate images using very low radiation dose. Radiation dose reduction is particularly important when imaging children, women of childbearing age, and patients who need multiple X-ray or CT examinations. Reducing radiation exposure today means reducing the risks of acute and potential long-term damage.

For the Abdomen & Pelvis

Ultrasound is a safe, radiation-free imaging procedure that utilizes echoes of sound waves to visualize soft tissue and fluids in the body. It is particularly good in examining the organs in the abdomen and pelvis.

MORE ABOUT ULTRASOUND

More Realistic & Accurate Diagnosis

One of the most promising new technologies is automated 3D ultrasound. Instead of flat, 2D images, this powerful ultrasound technology gives physicians a much more realistic view of the whole breast and its physical structures; providing multiple views — side to side, backand front and more.
Duration: upto 45minutes.

Highly Accurate & Precise

DRCTC is proud to have a mobile 3D TOMO MAMMOGRAPHY. This system boasts a wide variety of revolutionary advancements, including being the only Open Gantry Design 3D TOMO MAMMOGRAPHY in the marketplace.

Highly Detailed Breast MRI

Computer-aided-detection (CAD) is an automated, efficient way to process and interpret studies and guide interventional procedures. CAD helps to standardize breast MRI study analysis and offers customized reporting, designed to generate highly detailed breast MRI study reports that thoroughly and effectively communicate extent of disease.

MORE ABOUT BREAST MRI

More Realistic & Accurate Diagnosis

Radiography is the use of X-rays to view a non-uniformly composed material (i.e. of varying density and composition) such as the human body. A heterogeneous beam of X-rays is produced by an X-ray generator and is projected toward an object. The density and composition of each area determines how much of the ray is absorbed.

Measure Bone Density & Mineral Content

Approximately 50% of women over age 50 are at risk of sustaining an osteoporotic fracture. With DEXA, doctors are better equipped to detect and treat bone loss in its earliest stages, so as to prevent the disease or lessen its impact.

MORE ABOUT DEXA SCAN

More Patient Friendly Approach to Advanced MRI

The Open MRI service at DRCTC provides a more comfortable and patient-friendly alternative to traditional MRI scanning, particularly for individuals who experience claustrophobia or anxiety in enclosed spaces. Its open design offers greater visibility and a more spacious environment, helping patients feel relaxed throughout the examination. The system is designed to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while accommodating patients who may have difficulty with conventional MRI scanners.

Precision Imaging for Better Prostate Care

Ultrasound and MRI are the most commonly used techniques to image the prostate gland. The test is commonly used to evaluate the extent of prostate cancer to determine if the cancer is confined to the prostate, or if it has spread outside of the prostate gland. Occassionally, MRI of the prostate is recommended for other problems like infections, enlarged prostate etc.
